No bumps or tears - just some light wear at the top and tail of the spine. The gilt is still beautifully bright, especially the illustrations on the boards. The boards are quite clean but there are some damp marks and fading to the fore-edges of the boards. ***Very good in blue cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles to the spine and gilt illustrations to the front and back boards.
